In a double bi-wire configuration, this set consists of two complete full-range cable runs per channel. At the speaker end, each run remains fully independent, while at the amplifier end the two runs are joined into a single positive and single negative connector. This approach preserves full conductor separation to the speaker while maintaining a clean, manageable connection at the amplifier.

Double bi-wire is widely regarded as the ideal method of bi-wiring, offering clear sonic advantages over single bi-wire designs. By providing greater conductor mass and improved separation across frequency ranges, it delivers increased clarity, improved bass control, and a more effortless, open presentation.

Design & Technology

GBC employs six LGC (Long-Grain Copper) Hyperlitz conductors arranged in a Helical Array geometry, resulting in a substantial 12 AWG aggregate size per run. Dedicated bass conductors work in concert with AudioQuest’s SST (Spread Spectrum Technology) to minimize distortion and maintain consistency across the full frequency range—whether used full-range, single bi-wire, or double bi-wire.
