  • Solid Perfect-Surface Copper (PSC) conductors: The astonishingly smooth and pure Perfect-Surface processed conductors minimize distortion caused by grain boundaries and surface discontinuities that exist in any metal conductor.
  • Foamed-Polyethylene Dielectric: Foamed-PE, with its high air content, causes much less distortion than other common insulation materials.
  • Metal-Layer Noise-Dissipation: Preventing captured radio-frequency interference (RFI) from modulating the equipment’s ground reference requires AudioQuest’s Noise-Dissipation. Noise-Dissipation “shields the shield,” absorbing and reflecting most of this noise/RF energy before it reaches the layer attached to ground.
  • Cold-Welded, Gold-Plated Plugs: Cold-welding bonds the plug to the wire using high pressure, rather than high heat or distortion-causing substances like solder. This ensures that the character of the wire is not changed at the point of termination—cleaner, clearer, more natural sound.
